The First Visit
We get it, that first dentist visit can feel like a big moment for both kids and parents. Knowing what to expect helps take the pressure off and makes the experience smoother for everyone.
We recommend bringing your child in for their first dental visit by age one, or about six months after their first tooth appears. This early visit helps us catch any potential issues and see how things are developing and it gives us a chance to check that your at-home brushing routine is working well.
If needed, we may take X-rays to get a closer look at how their teeth are growing and make sure everything’s on track. Our goal? To make that first visit gentle, positive, and a great start to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
